This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Luna Linesmobile application ("App"), designed to help actors memorize lines faster through audio recording, playback, and script scanning features.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Account Information: If you choose to create an account for our premium services (including Lines Pro subscription), we collect your email address and any profile information you provide.

Audio Recordings: When you record lines using our app, these audio files are stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, store, or have access to your audio recordings.

Script Images: For our script scanning service (available with free credits and unlimited with Lines Pro subscription), you may upload images of paper scripts. Script scanning converts physical script pages into crisp digital text for easier reading on your device. These images are temporarily processed through our third-party AI service provider (OpenRouter) and are not stored on our servers or used for training purposes.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics, including app performance, feature usage, and crash reports. This data helps us improve the app experience.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our app services (including free and Lines Pro subscription features)
  • Process script scanning requests and manage usage credits
  • Monitor Fair Use Policy compliance for Lines Pro subscribers
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Analyze usage patterns and fix bugs
  • Communicate with you about your account, subscription, or our services
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your Privacy First: All audio recordings, scripts, and personal content you create remain on your device. We cannot access this information, and it never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to share it.

3.2 Script Scanning Service Processing

For script scanning (available with free credits and unlimited with Lines Pro), images are sent securely to OpenRouter for AI processing. These images are:

  • Processed immediately and not stored on their servers
  • Not used to train AI models
  • Transmitted using industry-standard encryption
  • Deleted immediately after processing

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our app. Google Analytics collects anonymous information about your usage patterns. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

4.2 OpenRouter (Script Scanning Service)

Our script scanning feature uses OpenRouter's AI processing services. Images are processed securely and are not stored or used for training purposes. Learn more at https://openrouter.ai/privacy.

5. Children's Privacy

Luna Lines is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Privacy Rights

6.1 Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. To permanently delete your account, please contact us at hello@lunalines.app.

6.2 Data Access

You can request information about what personal data we have collected about you by contacting us.

6.3 Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
